News from the sub-project "Ecological and socio-economic analysis of market-based incentive schemes for voluntary biodiversity enhancing offsets" [03.07.24]
For the PhD topic 8 "Ecological and socio-economic analysis of market-based incentive schemes for voluntary biodiversity enhancing offsets", field surveys of four market-based incentive systems were carried out from the end of May to the beginning of July 2024. These were random samples from the Bienenstrom, BienenBlütenReich, Kulturland Hohenlohe and Ökokonto programmes. In addition to the species inventory, additional factors such as deadwood piles, perches and growth structure were also recorded using a specially created data collection form. The spatial context is now being determined with the help of GIS. The focus here is on the location in and in relation to protected areas and the landscape structure.
