Marit Kasten

Marit Kasten studied Agricultural Economics at Nürtingen-Geislingen University, where she discovered her interest in the interface between agriculture and nature conservation. To further expand her knowledge of nature conservation, she transferred to the University of Hohenheim for her Master’s degree in Landscape Ecology. During her Master's degree, she spent a semester at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna, where she was able to deepen her knowledge of nature conservation and entomology. She wrote her master's thesis as part of the NOcsPS project on the topic of "Ecological and economic performance of conventional, organic and mineral-ecological cropping systems".
