Lea Streit, who is working on PhD topic 8, “Ecological and socio-economic analysis of market-based incentive schemes for voluntary biodiversity enhancing compensation services” presented a poster at the 38th German Nature Conservation Day (Deutscher Naturschutztag) in Berlin. The event’s theme was “Science and Practice – Economy and Nature Conservation,” and it featured examples of implementation and research projects that demonstrated how businesses can contribute to nature conservation in Germany. Her poster, titled “Flowering Sponsorships – A Small Contribution with a Big Impact?”, attracted quite a few interested attendees. Markus Röhl, the primary supervisor for the doctoral thesis, was also present.
